Adrienne Archia joined Rice Financial in March 2007 from First Albany Capital where she co-managed the firm’s Chicago and Midwest municipal finance efforts.  Illinois clients she has served as senior managing underwriter or lead financial advisor include Cook County, Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, City of Chicago, Chicago Park District, Chicago Public Schools, City Colleges of Chicago and Chicago Housing Authority.  She has also co-senior managed or co-managed transactions for the State of Illinois, Illinois Finance Authority, Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, Illinois Housing Development Authority, Regional Transportation Authority, University of Illinois, Chicago Transit Authority, Chicago Midway Airport and Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

Ms. Archia has experience assisting virtually every major issuer in the Midwest and has served as an active and involved managing underwriter or financial advisor on ground-breaking bond financings in Indiana, Michigan Missouri and Wisconsin.  She has also served numerous issuers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington State and Washington, DC.

Ms. Archia is a former Chief Financial Officer of the Chicago Housing Authority.  In earlier positions, she worked as assistant to the CFO for the City of Chicago and executive assistant to Mayor Richard M. Daley.  Before her stint in government, Ms. Archia worked in public finance for Drexel Burnham Lambert, Goldman Sachs, Dain Rauscher, Siebert Brandford Shank and First Albany.

Ms. Archia is a graduate of Spelman College where she received a bachelor’s degree in economics.
