Curry Cheek joined Rice Financial as an analyst in 2009.  Ms. Cheek was formerly employed with UBS as a Financial Analyst, where she provided analytical support in the execution of new money and conversion transactions for more than $1 billion of tax-exempt debt, including securities in the auction rate, variable rate demand bond and fixed rate markets.  She also performed credit, merger and debt capitalization analyses for live deals and client presentations using DBC Finance and assessed refunding, restructuring, new money and derivative opportunities for more than 25 clients.  Before joining UBS, Ms. Cheek served as a management consultant intern with New Sector Alliance. 

Ms. Cheek received an A.B. in economics from Harvard College.  She studied abroad at East Normal China University in Shanghai and was named “One of 100 People to Watch in the New Millennium” by the Washingtonian.  She was valedictorian of her high school class.
