Jose Yandun joined Rice Financial in 2010 from MFR Securities where he was a Vice President and a founding member of the firm’s public finance practice.  His efforts helped MFR secure syndicate appointments with the City of New York, the State of New Jersey and the State of California, among others.  In an earlier position as a Vice President with Ramirez & Co., Mr. Yandun was responsible for day-to-day account coverage and oversight related to structuring, execution and technical analysis for various municipal issuers. While at Ramirez, he worked directly on 44 senior managed financings totaling more than $2.9 billion for such clients as the City of New York, the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, the State of Illinois and Miami-Dade County (FL). His major accomplishments included creating the first commercial paper program for the City of Chicago and creating a new lien by refunding all outstanding debt for the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (NJ).  He was also an intern in the New York State Housing Finance Agency Public Finance Internship Program, where his first rotation was with the Public Finance Department of Bear, Stearns & Co.

Mr. Yandun received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Pace University Lubin School of Business in New York City.
